***0 series alloy, generally called commercial pure aluminium, the Al content of this series is above *9.0%. Feature: high conductivity, good corrosion resistant performance, high latent heat of melting, high-reflectance, well welding property, low strength and not suitable for heat treatments, it is mainly used in general industrial device, daily life tools, storage, scientific experiments and chemical industry etc.

***0 series alloy, generally called Al-Mn Alloy, the manganese is used as main alloy element. Feature: good rust resistance, not suitable for heat treatments, good corrosion resistant performance, well welding property, good plasticity, low strength but suitable for cold working hardening. ***0 alloy is mainly used in decoration, heat-sink device, external walls, storage, sheets for construction, etc.

***0 series alloy, generally called Al-Mg Alloy, the magnesium is used as main alloy element. Feature: all the advantages of normal aluminum alloy, high tensile strength and  yield strength, good corrosion resistant performance, well welding property, well fatigue strength, and suitable for anodic oxidation. The brightness of 5 series alloy is not as good as 1 series and 3 series alloy, but it is widely used in industrial field.

***0 series alloy belongs to Al-Mg-Si alloy with medium strength, good plasticity and excellent corrosion resistance. Especially, it has no stress corrosion cracking tendency. It has good weldability, corrosion resistance and cold workability. It is a promising alloy with a wide range of applications. It can be colored by anodic oxidation or painted with enamel, which is suitable for building decoration materials. After extrusion, it can not be quenched by air. It needs re-solution treatment and quenching aging to obtain higher strength.
